Quatrain Practice 1
Like Fitzgerald or Tennyson, with a dash of Hebrew parallelism.
I can't keep blaming everything on you. I can't keep refusing to change myself. Even though I'm going to need help, I can't keep delaying my voyage home. You may have made your own mistakes. You might have done your share of harm. But even what's not my fault is my responsibility— you'll definitely help me heal the wounds. Only I can make this right. Only I can fix this course. Only I can pick myself up off of this canyon floor. It's time to make my voyage home. I'm so far from my destination. But even what's not my fault is my responsibility— I can't keep delaying my voyage home.
