Damn, that hurts.
It hurts me too Sherman, but maybe a little less now that I've put it in lines.
My poems help me sometimes and sometimes they don’t.
I think my poems have always helped me. But sometimes it's not right away in the writing. Sometimes when I've recited my own painful poem or sang my own song enough times, it heals me a bit each time until I'm better.
Same case for me.
Reminds me of The Sopranos's ducks and how intrusion becomes absence

Surprisingly Benno, I have not seen The Sopranos. I probably should bump it up in my list.
But wait what happened to the dogs
We re-homed them to a family that could actually care for them.
I am still sad that you are sad but hopefully the dogs have many grand adventures and living and loving you were just one of many
Thank you Olly. This events in question were actually almost two years ago. I'm mostly not sad about them anymore. That first morning was hard though.
